MicrobesOnline Outage January 2021

On January 3, 2021, our data center restored power after a maintenance window, and at that time our primary MicrobesOnline server failed to power on. We believe that we have restored most functionality. A partial list of what is known to be still broken is below. We will continue to update this page if we learn anything else is not working. Please contact us at the link below if you find other problems.

• metaMicrobesOnline not working (we may deprecate in the future)
• Some microarray pages slow but working
• Login, jobs, and carts (mostly fixed Jan 4 2:30pm; some past job output may still be missing)
• Phylogenetic profiles (fixed Jan 4 2pm)
• Tree browser SVG output (discovered Jan 20, fixed Jan 22)
